Bluetooth music streaming help

Hi everybody,

This is my first post so hello! I collected my 208 yesterday and already have fallen in love with it. My only niggle is that I'm having difficulties streaming music via bluetooth. I have an iphone 5s which connected to bluetooth without problem and I am able to use it for calls. However, when I try to stream music via bluetooth, the track information shows on the display but it doesn't play. I tried pressing pause on the screen and on my phone but it still wouldn't play. Any suggestions? I have been able to stream music via the USB function but I would prefer bluetooth streaming so that I can receive calls at the same time.

Also, when I was connected via bluetooth and using google maps on my phone, the voice wasn't playing through the car speakers. Is this right?

Bluetooth streaming has always been a bit hit and miss in my car too.if you go into the settings of your google maps app there is an option to play voice over Bluetooth as a telephone call ( can't remember exactly what it's called ) this will play voice over whatever your listening to. Hope it helps.

When I got back into my car, I turned my Bluetooth on my phone and it started playing music through the touchscreen instantly! Guess it is hit and miss! Thanks for the Google tip, I'll have a look into it now
