Can anyone help please.

Hi, I asked my dealer when I collected my 1.2 Active what the correct torque setting should be and he gave me a figure of 100Nm (which I believe is 120 Lb/Ft). This is for the 15" Azote wheels, but I guess the figure is correct for your wheels as well.

Thanks,
I have found a torque of 85Nm for the 208 Allure with 16" wheels on the internet, but the dealers figure should be the correct one I wolud have thought. I think it was 100Nm on my 207 also.
100Nm is actually 73.75ft lbs.

Many thanks for correcting my error. I must admit that I will be really happy once Haynes produce a manual for the 208. I feel totally lost without such a reference.
I am a bit concerned that 75 Lb/Ft is the recommended torque for wheel bolts. My previous car (an Audi A4) was a lot tighter than that and also had five bolts rather than four. I suppose the dealer must know what he is doing since I checked all my bolts and they were indeed tightened to just 100 Nm.

Once again thanks for correcting my error.
