Picking up my GTI next week and I wanted to know what people think of the sound system.

My VW had a really good one and I do like my music, so might be looking to change the speakers if they're not up to scratch.

its ok, ive upgrade the fronts and intend to do the backs aswell.

I'm afraid your incorrect there they are certainly not JBL.

I think it might be an upgrade you can buy. But it's not available on the uk market

The sound system in my GTI is very good, I don't think it needs upgrading at all.

I've JBL system in my car, it sounds really good. Crisp, Accurate and enough of bass.
If you have JBL in the car then you don't need to upgrade the system at all.. well only if you want more bass. But i'm happy with 100watts subwoofer. Its the engine sound I really want to hear when I drive an GTi
