rear door wont lock

hi everyone

got a problem that has just started happening.

208 2013 1.2 VTI, car wont lock, its because it keeps saying the drivers rear door is open, even though its not.

wont lock with the key in the lock, and wont lock with remote central locking key fob.
also when driving its constantly telling me the rear door is open.

anybody got any idea's ?

Sounds like the rear door sensor is faulty. Is the door closing and flush with the bodywork?

yea, the door closes no problem, was fine then for some reason just started to say it was open all the time? I've just ordered another door locking mechanism, will try replacing the lock and hope that fixes the problem, 2nd hand lock was only £14 delivered

I know this is a 3 year old post but did this resolve the problem? I'm having the same issue you described and can't lock my car.
