French media is reporting Peugeot will introduce a soft top convertible version of the 208 in the second half of next year.

While predecessors 206 CC and 207 CC featured a metal roof, the 208 convertible will likely be offered with a soft top to keep weight down and also reduce the complexity of the vehicle. It will be based on the three-door version so expect an overall length of around four meters and a 2+2 interior cabin layout. Compared to the Citroën DS3 Cabrio, the Peugeot 208 cabrio will have slender pillars and its automatic soft top will be operable even when outside the car by pressing a button on the key.

Engine lineup will allegedly be carried over from the fixed roof model.

An official unveiling will likely occur in mid-September 2015 at the Frankfurt Motor Show before going on sale later that year

Don't much like the rear end. Front is OK though, and would like to see roll bars just for safety in the case of a rollover.
