Hi all,

Just wanted some advice regarding the paint coming off my rear parking sensors. I had these fitted, after I purchased the car, from my local Peugeot main dealer. They were colour coded to match the bodywork. 10 months later theres hardly any paint left on them.I'm no expert but on closer inspection they dont seem to have been primed before spraying, you can literally remove the paint with your fingernail.

So can anyone give some advice? should these be primed before spraying? Am I within my rights to get these re-sprayed?

Thanks in advance.

Just take them back to be resprayed. We fit them at the dealership I work for and the odd one flakes. It's a rarity, but it happened to my company car.

Are they meant to be primed/undercoated or do you normally spray directly on the black plastic?

All four sensors have lost their paint.
