Hey guys, just wanted some expert advice. Engine warning light came on December day before service and MOT. Went to main dealer who diagnosed quite a costly fix. Local garage charged a fraction of the cost.
Water pump replaced
Battery replaced
Problem solved, however it wasn't. Light came back on misfire diagnosis given.
Brand new coil packs changed light goes off - happy days.
Guess what light comes back on.
Car broke down.
Taken back to main dealer who said it was coolent and coolent sensor. They fixed that but not the problem.
New set of spark plugs fitted, problem not.
Now they're saying it's the cylinder head major fault. £4k to fix.
Are they taking the mick???
