Hi I have recently ordered 208 as my lease car (1.4. HDi Active in Black) I have been given an estimated delivery date as 26th October, does this seem a long wait?? I ordered it on 9th August.

We ordered two on the 16th of August... Both 1.4 HDI Active models .. one blue and one black .. We pick them up next weekend

So answer to your question is yes

I just took out a lease, I had to do it through a peugeot dealer since everyone else was quoting 3 month lead times because of the options i had chosen

I called dealer and asked him what cars wereavailablea couple of times and ended up taking one that had a few extra options than i originally wanted and i only waited 3 weeks.

Unless it is already in stock waiting time is about right - ours was ordered at end of June just after release and our build date is now 29 August after having been put back twice by Peugeot.Understand Peugeot factory shuts down for 4 weeks from beginning of August so willonly be starting back on Monday I believe.
