Hi,

I thought I'd start a thread where I can log all the mods I make to my GTI and also some pics of nice places it's been.

So this is my car on the day I picked it up (10/09/2013)

I've now done 5500 miles in it and bloody love every second. I've started some minor mods in the last week, the first of which was a Zunsport lower grille.

Before:

After:

Today I have fitted a stubby aerial and a Pipercross panel filter.

car looks great , I like the front grill !!

but you can't call those car parks "nice places"

roll on better weather so you/we can get some pics in better places !

does the filter add to the induction noise ?!?!?

The Tssssssss noise it make when you take your foot off the gas has increased quite a lot.

Yes, I can't wait for some nicer weather to take some better pics. I also got a Zunsport grille for my mates DS3

I put the link and discount code for the grill in a separate thread!

The exhaust could be a bit bigger....

nice one !

I have seen the scorpion offer for £99 , but they will require a car for 2 weeks . .
Miltek already have an exhaust available , or i might just chop a silencer out ?!?

maybe if we could get some interest within the forum we could group buy ?!

It will affect it slightly, but day to day it seems fine and my mate has had no problems. The only time it seems to go off more quickly is in a car park

Got a little plan for some sneaky vinyl. All will be revealed. Very subtle though

Another project! Is that your own garage or works? I wish I had my own garage. Would make things much easier and id be able to do much more with the car.

Driven 650 miles in the last day and a half! Down to Somerset, then Devon, then up to Bristol and back to Norwich. Met up with my brother and his Mrs in her new A Class in Wells in Someset

Merc is a company car, so not so expensive

My car is in today to have the rear bumper painted where something took a chunk out a few months ago. Touched it in back when it happened, but it's annoying me too much to leave it as it is.

Pretty fed up with my bonnet, so many stone chips. I've touched them all in, but it still looks sh*te
