I order a new peugeot 208 1.2 petrol ecg active plus but i do not know if it has the hill start assist. Can any one telp me if it is equiped with the hill start assist

My last car, a RCZ had hill start assist but my GTI dosn't, wish it had, it's a handy feature!

Nah, hill start assist is did orople that can't foo hill starts or can't control the clutch properly!!! Lol.

It's on my 1.6 thp XL. Not tried it yet. Keep forgetting when out. How does it work and what procedure is needed, if any to work it ?

When on an incline just dab the brake pedal and the brakes will hold for a couple of seconds.

And if so how effective have people been finding it ?

It rather depends on the model and gearbox option. I would have thought the dealer would be the best person to give you a definitive answer.

Worked it out :/ It doesn't
Its only on the e-vti EGC engines -.-
