Alright everyone!!
Well I traded in my 206Gti on Saturday for a more Eco friendly 208.
Got the 1.2vti allure in white with all the toys including panoramic roof and tech grey alloys
Just got to wait till the end of January now for it to be delivered.
Looking forward to chatting to you guys!
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy, thats going to be a bit of a dip in performance - 208 is a very nice modern car though so hope you will still enjoy it.

Yeah I know, doing a lot of miles now though and the 206 is struggling with 30mpg

Looking forward to driving the 208 though, feels nippy enough

Hi Andy we picked our 1.2 vti allure 3 weeks ago and we are struggling to get 32MPG I know it's new and the weather does not help but I was hoping for the MPG to a bit better

I have a 1.2vt and I get around 40-41MPG.

Got 49 on a run to Manchester & back.

Have so far done 2400 miles in the 8 weeks I've had it.

I have a 1.2VTi

First 600km I got around 14km/l (33 MPG) witch I found disappointing. At the moment when I'm really keep economy in mind I get around 40MPG with 43MPG as my best effort. What I noticed is on the motorway when you go beyond 3000 rpm the fuel consumption really skyrockets so I prefer not to go above 60MPH. Reallya shame the 208 doesn't have a 6th gear than it would be perfect.
