Hello,<br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">I have some questions on the gti,<br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">My english is not so good but i hope u have some time to help me out.<br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">1,Im getting mine balck, Do i need to give her running in ?<br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">2, I really hate the front grill is there a way to remove those chrome things or something i can buy from ebay to do the whole line chrome ? also what are those called ?<br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">3, are there any aftermarket products i should but both performance and visual?<br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><br style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">4,the gti comes with a stock spoiler right, you dont have to order it apart?

Hi Mello, with regards to your questions :-
1. Running in, nowadays cars generally don't need to be 'run-in' although it would be beneficial to treat the engine sympathetically for the first few hundred miles or so. Also the major mechanical parts of the car are all brand new and will therefore be reasonably tight so will benefit from being treated gently until they are loosened slightly.

2.I suppose you could always replace the grill with one from a different variant of the 208 but you could also consider coating the grille. You can find details of this elsewhere in the GTI part of the forum.

3. I don't own a GTI so I can't help with this one.

4. I believe the GTI does come with a spoiler as standard.
