I'm wondering if anyone knows - when pressing the acceleration pedal fully down, why is there a certain point with resistance, like a kick-down switch, even though the gear box is not automatic?
Hi, I think this may be the point at which the speed limiter is over-ridden. I can't think of any other reason for it to be there other than the kick-down for an automatic gearbox.
Yeah I have also noticed the same. As above it is for the speed limiter over ride switch incase you need to make a quick move while the speed limiter is engaged. Regarding the cruise control that runs souley off the throttle position sensor.
