I searched on google and was dissapointed to discover that production rates have decreased due to various economical and demand issues with peugeot and the 208. I guess this means that all customers expecting delivery of a 208 will not be getting super fast delivery for anything that needs to be built at the factory i.e. any non standard selection :-(

Yes I've been reading a lot about Peugeot and their issues lately. A lot of it stems from their home country - but the rest of mainland EU has seen a massive downturn in car purchases too.

I think they have also joined up with GM now to share technologies and develop new cars together.
