Hi guys I picked up my 18plate bps a few weeks ago which They done a service on before handover. I checked the oil the other day on a cold engine and flat surface. And the level was well above what I'm supposing is the max level (see pic ) my finger is where the oil is up too. Im guessing either they overfilled it or that ain't the original dipstick for the car. Can someone advise please and thank you

looks as though the oil has been overfilled, i would get some siphoned out, before it does damage
The dipstick looks genuine. Agreed with Nizz.
I'm so particular with my cars that i would have issues taking it back to the same guys if they can't get the oil level right.

the dealer network is mediocre at best. Always check the work they have said is completed after servicing etc. Let us know what they say.
