HiGuys,

Can anyone
recommend a good bike rack for the 208 GTI? I would rather one that goes on the
back of the car however all the ones I have looked at seem to put a lot of
pressure on the spoiler.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />




Any ideas?

I use a roof rack/bike holder for transporting.
Keeps things securer/full visibility/etc but does cost a bit more. I already had the bike holder but had to buy new bars for 208, can't remember how much I paid but look around and should get at least 20% discount.

Looked up prices I paid for the bits. I was £85 for roof bars (£138 on peugeot accessories site!!), I got them on eBay. Might seem a lot but if you change car in say 3 years then you can sell them on on eBay. I got back about two thirds of the price of the ones for my last car when I did that.

The bike carrier I have is a Thule 532, nothing fancy but does a perfectly good job. These can be picked up from £35ish these days. And you can keep them and just attach it to whatever roof bars you have for for your car at that time, no paying out every time you change car.
