Hi there fellow 208 owners.

I got my GTI a few weeks ago and I must say, its freak'n awesome.

My only criticism is the audio, so I'm upgrading the speakers and adding an amp, splits and a sub.


I need to know if there are AV out (RCA, red and white) cables available on the standard head unit. Is there aremote power cable (for the amp).

A cable diagram for the standard head unit would be awesome. A few pics would also be great.

Hi guy
I am half way through a twin 12" boot build i removed the screen and control box but couldnt seem to find and out puts so i removed the rear panels and added an rca converter off the rear speaker conections, not the best way but the only way i could see round it. Also the remote wire i just looped to the power and ran a switch so i can turn the amp off if its getting a bit 2 much. Very old fashioned way but it works and i didnt have to cut any wireing

At the moment the GTI is in the garage had knocking from the top end so just waiting to hear back. When ifs back i will take some for u bud
