Hi all!

i'm new here as member but i have read and found the topics extremely helpful :)

i'm currently facing this problem with my brand new 208 touchscreen:
i'm using the FM radio everyday but this morning suddenly my sound doesn't work and the screen shows the symbol of audio deactivated. I really don't have a clue how this happened (i didn't touch or pressed any button), still, I tried to fix it by checking the audio settings (I found nth :/ ) or simply by clicking once the left sound button on the wheel or the big button on the touch screen (they are supposed to pause and re-activate the sound as the manual suggets). But nothing!
Any ideas?? Is it possible that the audio "stuck" in the de-activated mode? :/ I have the car one month now and I totally love it. I know this problemis not a big dealand it has to be easy to be fixed!but it is irritating and I just can't drive with all sounds off

With the ignition on, try pressing and holding in the Menu & Screen mode buttons together. After a few seconds you will hear a loud 'pop' from the speakers and the system should re-boot, and (hopefully!) work normally after this.

It worked!! Thanks a lot!!
I guess it was just a transient problem of the audio related buttons and I was wrong to freak out so easily!

I'm glad to see that it's cured the problem for you!
In fact the re-boot seems to cure most of the problems experienced with the touchscreen, although they sometimes do re-appear, but it's worth keeping it in mind!

Any one-time solution for this please ?

There are numerous versions of Smeg.

Smeg
Smeg+
Smeg+IV2

And with or without Satnav.

Google is your friend. You could have just searched by the time you replied.

But since you haven't here is a link. To find what you are wanting
