I was originally looking at getting an arm rest as an optional extra. Unfortunately the salesman told me the car would have to be specially built because I was ordering an optional extra and this would take a minimum of 16 weeks...
.

I have done a search online and the arm rest can be bought separately. Does anyone know if this could be fitted retrospectively or is it purely a factory fit option only?

I have got Feline which has an armrest as standard but hardly ever use it as when it is down it is almost impossible to get at the handbrake.Nice on motorways but hopeless around towns.

I have just ordered the arm rest for the peugeot 208 costing around £136. It must be able to be fitted if its being offered as an accessory on the peugeot website.

Did any of you purchase the armrest?
If so how easy was fitting, able to do yourself or is it a job at the dealers?
And was it worth the ££ ?

My dealer in wokingham just quoted me £360 for the official GTI armrest and has to be ordered in about 500 different parts, which is on eternal back order or 150 for the "standard black" one

Joke!
