hi folks
don't know if its a common fault was checking oil level in the 208 this morning and it looks/feels like the dip stick (level ) end is cracked mid way up the markers
any one got a parts software to see what the part number is, looked on ebay for new one and guys not coming back to confirm or not if the one he had is right

208 1.2cc 82hp 2016

got the part number now off the old dip stick 98085 990 80 been on ebay and german seller matches it with part 9805767780

see if i can get hold of dealers spare dept tomorrow

looks like the plastic covering (thats in the oil for the level) is breaking up

just an update for those that get the same problem
got a new dip stick from peugeot dealers £20 (2021 price) they have changed the dipstick now the part that checks the oil level is just metal (no plastic covering) there is still a plastic guide/partial seal to reduce oil going up the dip stick tube, with a plastic stick top/head seal
