208 GTI Pictures

The first sensations are completely visual and evident as soon as the GTi Concept is revealed. Instantly characterised by being the performance icon of the 208, it features chequered-flag motifs that embellish the metal mesh of the grille, and the lower bar proudly affirms its origin by displaying the French ‘Le Tricolour’ flag or the Union Jack when in the UK.

Folding Mirrors Issue

Dave,Fuel consumption sounds great.  Since new mine shows 6.7 l/100km and an average of only 45 km/h.  By the way, Trip 2 stops counting at 9999, so then I re-set it.  I'll have averages for each 10k.  I use Trip 1 for each fill and I usually get 580 to 600 km before the light comes on.Earlier I took my old Garmin in the car for a speedo check.  I reckon the digital speedo reads +3 km/h across the range, so I have the ...

Folding Mirrors Issue

Yes, lets hopeI have used the set speeds, however prefer to set my own as I go as I find it much easier to just use the manual set of speed when activating cruise.Your photos up at Mt Cravatt look good.So far I have found the fuel usage pretty good.  Since having picked up the car I am averaging 5.5l/km, average speed 85km/h with ranges in the low 800km mark (though I would normally fill at 700 or so after a week of com ...

Folding Mirrors Issue

G'day Peter.I am on the northside and work in Buderim, so lots of highway driving (unfortunately today in my old car!).  Already have conquered the Toowoomba/Glorious/Samford run, as well as had a trip to Hervey Bay and just live the way the little Pug handles the different conditions.  Out of the cars I checked out (Polo Gti, Fiesta ST, Clio etc) this one certainly ticked the boxes.Given that they were working last night and then not this ...

Folding Mirrors Issue

G'day David,Great to see another red GTi in Brissie !!  Which part of town are you in ?  (PM me if you like).  My GTi is 11 months old and going great !There are a couple of possibilities with the mirrors.  There's a on/off setting buried in the touch screen pages.  I think something like Settings, Vehicle.  Also, the mirror adjustment selector (left/right mirror) can be used to manually fold the mirrors in/out.  Us ...
